Sabres Last Lightnin

“Shirley” is a 2007, five panel NN, grey mare by Playin In Lightning. Playin In Lightning has been nominated to The Cowhorse Supreme, Alberta Reining Cowhorse Association, and the Saskatchewan Cutting Horse Association. He had NCHA LTE of over $8,830. He was used as a lesson horse for beginner and advanced riders and was gentle enough for kids. He is a proven sire of conformation, disposition, and cow horse ability.
Playin In Lightning was an own son of Playgun. Playgun had NCHA LTE of over $186,000 and was a sire of earners of over $8 million.
Playgun was an own son of Freckles Playboy who was inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame in 2013. He is the 3rd all-time leading NCHA sire. Freckles Playboy had offspring earning 24.5 million in NCHA earnings, $285,00 in NRCHA, $125,00 in NRHA, and $177,000 in AQHA World Champion Shows.  Playgun was out of the NCHA Hall of Fame and all-time leading money earning mare, Miss Silver Pistol. Miss Silver Pistol had over $512,750 in LTE.
Playin In Lightning was out of Lenas Lightning, a NCHA earner of over $6400 and a producer of over $100,000 of money earning get. Lenas Lightning was by Doc O’Lena, the AQHA Hall of Fame horse with NCHA LTE over $21, 990. He was a leading sire and maternal grandsire of NCHA money earners and the sire of multiple NCHA Hall of Fame horses.
Shirley’s maternal grandsire is Blue Boy Doc, a NCHA money earner and producer of NCHA and NRHA winners. He was Canada’s only son of Docs Prescription, a leading sire of World Champion cutting and pleasure horses and offspring with over $2 million in NCHA LTE.  Blue Boy Doc is the sire of the 6 time-World Champion and 6 time-Reserve World Champion rope horse, Apache Blue Boy.
Shirley’s maternal great grandsire, Jetaway Reed, was an AQHA Supreme Champion. He had a speed index of 100, ROM Racing, Superior Halter, and ROM Performance.

Jazzy Blue Magnolia

Jazzy Blue Magnolia

“Jazzy” is a 2013 red dun, AQHA mare. She is homozygous dun, meaning she will only through dun factor foals: red dun, dun, and grulla. Jazzy is broke to ride with many ranch miles. She’s been roped off of and performed all ranch duties. She is the youngest mare so far to join the broodmare band, but she is just what we are looking for: something that has real world working experience and usability.
Jazzy is by Jaz Poco Goldun Blue. He is the “most recognized grulla horse in the world” because he was the first stallion noticed by the AQHA as always producing dun factor offspring. When they developed their colour test, he was in fact Homozygous dun. He is 95% foundation and is five panel NN. He is a NRHA money earner, Champion Working Cowhorse and Reining, and has a ROM Reining.
Jaz Poco Goldun Blue is by Little Steel Dust who is 100% Foundation. He sired multiple AQHA reining ROMs, World Show top ten Team Penning, Youth ROMs, NRHA money earners, and NFQHA National Champions.
Jazzy’s dam was a ranch bred and raised mare who was used for everyday ranch work, as was her granddam. Jazzy’s great grandsire on her dam’s side is War Machine. He was an AQHA Champion and a Supreme Champion. He earned a ROM in racing and performance. He had AQHA points in halter, Hunter Under Saddle, Pleasure, Tie down roping, and Dally Team Roping.

"Wit" is a 2009 sorrel mare. She is sired by Blue Spark Olena, a blue roan stallion who was a reining cowhorse champion owned by the famous Davis Ranch in Utah. Blue Spark Olena was sired by the AQHA Hall of Fame sire, Shining Spark, the NRCHA and NRHA 3-million-dollar sire. His maternal grandsire was the Hall of Fame sire, Smart Little Lena.
Her maternal grandsire is Powder River Playboy. He had NRCHA LTE of over $62,500 and a total LTE of over $137,000.

RHL Zan Jackie Two

“Jackie” is a 2006 bay Quarter Horse mare. She is by Rafter H Livestock’s patriarch stallion, Zan Jack Two. Zan Jack Two was a proven sire of roping horses, barrel horses, working cow horses, and ranch horses. He was also a direct son of AQHA Hall of Fame sire, Zan Parr Bar. Zan Parr Bar was a versatile stallion. He had 245 AQHA points in halter and 357 AQHA performance points. He was an AQHA Champion, a Superior Halter horse, a Superior Steer Roping horse, and had a performance ROM. His performance points were in Western Pleasure, Reining, Calf Roping, Heading and Heeling. He was a three-time World Champion Halter horse. He sired earners of 25,304 AQHA points, 62 Superior Performance Awards, 68 all-around titles, 21 AQHA Champions, and 23 World Champions.
Zan Parr Bar was by Par Three. He had 52 halter points and was a Superior Halter horse. He sired earners of 1459.5 halter points, 2502.5 performance points, 2 Race ROMs, 45 Performance ROMs, 11 AQHA Championships, 8 Superior Halter Awards, 8 Superior Performance Awards, 6 AQHA World Championships, 1 Reserve Wold Championship, $2305 in NCHA money, $13,190 in NRHA money, and $871 in NRCHA money.
Zan Jack Two’s dam was by the legendary, Hall of Fame sire, Two Eyed Jack. Two Eyed Jack had 217 Halter points, 65.5 Performance points, a Halter ROM, was a Superior Halter horse, a Performance ROM, was a Superior Performance horse, and was an AQHA Champion. He sired earners of 15,698 Halter points, 21,336.5 Performance points, 149 AQHA Championships, 314 ROMs, 3 Superior Championships, 74 Superior Halter Awards, 82 Superior Performance Awards, 23 World Championships, 10 Reserve Wold Championships, 13 Hi-point Awards, and $1334 in NCHA money.
Jackie’s dam is a granddaughter of Major Bonanza. Major Bonanza had 86 Halter points, 137 Performance points, was an AQHA Champion, had his Halter ROM, had his Western Pleasure ROM, had his Working Cowhorse ROM, had his Hunter Under Saddle ROM, was a Superior Halter horse, and was a Superior Western Pleasure horse. In 1977 he was the Reserve Hi-point Working Cow horse. In 1977 and ’78 he placed 6th in the Wold Show Working Cow Horse. He sired 15 World Champions.

JD Finely Dun It

“Buttercup” is a 2008, 15 hh, sorrel mare with chrome. She is a daughter of Dunit with a Whiz, a NRHA money earner, AQHA point earner, and has a Reining ROM.Dunit With a Whiz is an own son of Hollywood Dunit. Hollywood Dunit has NRHA LTE of over $65,800. He was inducted into the NRHA Hall of Fame in 2000 and was the NRHA’s first 4 million dollar sire in 2004 and has since become a 6 million dollar sire. He is the #3 all-time leading sire in reining. He was inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame in 2012. Hollywood Dunit horses are well known for their kind and willing dispositions.Hollywood Dunit is a son of Hollywood Jac 86, the first sire in reining history to become a million dollar sire. He was inducted into the NRHA Hall of Fame in 1993.Dunit With a Whiz’s dam, Whiz A Bobbie, is a full sister to Topsail Whiz, the #1 all-time leading sire in reining and the only 12 million dollar NRHA sire. Whiz A Bobbie is a producer of NRHA money earners and AQHA point earners.Whiz A Bobbie is a daughter of Topsail Cody, a million dollar NRHA sire who was inducted into the NRHA Hall of Fame in 1996. Topsail Cody was owned and trained by the Hall of Fame inductee, Bob Loomis.  Whiz A Bobbie’s dam, Jeanie Whiz Bar, was very special to Bob Loomis. He saw her for the first time as a two year old being shown by a youth rider. She had never had any professional training and yet she went on to be the 1977 Youth AQHA High-Point Reining horse and earned 204 AQHA points with her youth rider.  Buttercup’s dam is a Skipper W bred mare. Her grandsire, Shock Me Dandy, was an AQHA point earner and her granddam, Shirley Bank Beau, was a producer of performance and halter point earners shown by youth competitors.

Smart Peppy Penny is by Smart Peppy Lena, a full brother to Smart Little Lena. Smart Peppy Lena had 42.5 AQHA points: 2.0 in Cutting, 8.0 in Junior Cutting, 22.0 in Reining, 4.0 in Senior Reining, 6.5 in Working Cow Horse. He had a Performance ROM. He earned over $7,160 in NRHA money and over $1,990 in NCHA money, with LTE of over $14,500. He has sired NCHA earners of over $17,100, NRHA earners of over $159,000, and NRCHA earners of over $3,900. 
Smart Peppy Lena was sired by the immortal Doc O’Lena. Doc O’Lena was inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame and is one of only two horses with both his dam and sire also inductees. Doc O’Lena had NCHA earnings of over $21,990. He is a leading sire and leading maternal grandsire of NCHA money earners. He is the also the sire of multiple NCHA Hall of Fame horses. Smart Peppy Lena’s dam was Smart Peppy. She had 7.0 AQHA points in Cutting and 2.0 AQHA points in Youth Cutting. 
Smart Peppy Penny’s dam is Tax Time Tucker. She had 3.5 AQHA points and earned over $2,650 in NCHA money. Tax Time Tucker is a daughter of Doc Tom Tucker. Doc Tom Tucker is a leading sire of cutting horses, reining horses, and reined cowhorses. Tax Time Tucker’s dam is Jenni Jo Renynolds, a mare who also had a show record with 1.0 AQHA point in Hackamore and Snaffle Cow Horse. 
Smart Peppy Penny’s foals will have Doc O’Lena and Doc Tom Tucker on the papers with Doc Bar, Poco Lena, and Peppy San just off the papers.

“Maggie” is a 2005 dark brown mare. She is 15 hands of gorgeous. She is a very quiet and friendly mare that will come find you in the pasture. She is 96% Foundation blood and is registered with the National Foundation Quarter Horse Association.
Maggie’s great grandsire on her dam’s side is Kims Pica Pride. He had 94 performance points, in 1981 he was the Open High Point Working Cow Horse Stallion, in 1984 he was the Open World Champion SR Working Cow Horse, and in 1985 he was Open Superior Reining. Maggie’s great grandsire on her sire’s side is Rocky San who was a direct son of Peppy San: the AQHA and NCHA Hall of Fame inductee who was a world champion cutting horse, an AQHA Champion, had ROMs in Cutting and Halter, and Superior Cutting. Peppy San sired earners of over $10.6 million.

Whoa Whiz Kit

Whoa Whiz Kit is a 2014 chestnut mare. Her sire, Crusin Whiz, was only lightly shown and was Top Ten at the NRHA Novice Horse Open in Moose Jaw. He has sired Working Cowhorse Point earners, Barrel Racing money earners, and Reining money earners with total offspring earnings of over $10,000. He is a son of the first 12 million-dollar NRHA sire, TOPSAIL WHIZ. Topsail Whiz also sired earners of over $64,000 in NRCHA money, earners of over $1,600 in NCHA money and earners of over $199,400 in AQHA World Championship Show money. 
Topsail Whiz’s sire is the million-dollar and NRHA Hall of Fame sire, Topsail Cody. His dam is Jeanie Whiz Bar. Jeanie Whiz Bar had 204 AQHA Performance Points, a Performance ROM, a Youth ROM, a Superior Reining award and Youth Superior Reining award and was the 1978 High Point Mare. 
Crusin Whiz’s dam was Cruisin Command who had NRHA offspring earnings of over $12,500. Her sire, Fritz Command, is a NRHA leading broodmare sire. He had a ROM in Halter and Performance and he was an AQHA Champion. He sired earners of over $137,500 in NRHA money and earners of over $62,600 in NRCHA money. His total offspring earnings was over $308,700. Cruisin Command’s dam, Nite Nite Tucker, produced NRHA earners of over $70,000.
Whoa Whiz Kit’s dam, Whoa Sally Whoa, is a daughter of Chex Nu Jewel. Chex Nu Jewel earned 73 AQHA points in Barrel Racing, Halter, Pole Bending, Reining, Team Penning, and Working Cow Horse. He was an All-Around Champion four times, a Performance Register of Merit earner, earned a Superior Reining award, qualified for the JR Reining World Show and was the PHBA Reserve World Champion.
Chex Nu Jewel’s sire was the 3 million-dollar NRHA sire, Nu Chex to Cash. Nu Chex to Cash is the AQHA #1 All Time Reining Point Earner. He earned 379 AQHA Performance points and 1.5 Halter points, as well as 15 PHBA Performance points. He had LTE of over $65,000 and he has produced earners of over $3.6 million. He is the only horse in AQHA history to win High Point Titles in both Reining and Working Cow Horse in the same year. He is also the sire of the NRHA 12-million-dollar sire, Wimpys Little Step.
Whoa Whiz Kit’s maternal grandsire was Diggers Rest, a Peppy San Badger son who had 211 AQHA performance points, an Open ROM and an Amateur ROM, and a Superior Reining award in both Open and Amateur. 
We are very happy with our new addition to the broodmare band. She is very sweet and well behaved.

Miss Eldorado Acre

Miss Eldorado Acre is a money earning granddaughter of both Topsail Cody and Bob Acre Doc.

Her sire, Topline Eldorado, was a NRHA money earner, he had 11.5 AQHA performance points in Reining, as well as an Open Performance ROM. Topline Eldorado was sired by Topsail Cody and out of Lady El Dorado.

Topsail Cody was an earner of over $29,200 in NRHA money and had 24 AQHA reining points. He was also one of the first NRHA Million Dollar sires and is a NRHA Hall of Fame horse. He is the sire of the first ever 12 Million Dollar sire, Topsail Whiz.

Lady El Dorado had LTE of over $19,900 and had 36 AQHA points in Reining, Horsemanship, Showmanship, and Hunt Seat Equitation. She also earned an Open Performance ROM and a Youth Performance ROM. She produced earners of over $92,180, 784 AQHA points, 6 Superior awards, and 12 ROM awards.  

Miss Eldorado Acres’ dam, Miss Royal Acre, produced earners of over $11,360. She was a daughter of Bob Acre Doc and Miss Royal Fork.

 Bob Acre Doc was a NCHA Hall of Fame horse. He had LTE of over $426,130, earned 22 AQHA points in cutting, and earned an Open Performance ROM. He was a two-time NCHA World Champion and he had offspring earnings of over $6.9 million.

Miss Royal Fork had LTE over $5,920 and had offspring earnings of over $17,600.

"Starbuck" is a Morgan mare. She is quite special to us as she is a very docile and loving mare. She is mostly blind, and has been since birth, and yet she is so gentle and quiet you wouldn't know it. She has the older Morgan bloodlines and is built short and sturdy. She is 14.1 hands.   Morgans are known for their quiet temperaments and good work ethic. She fits right in here and produces stunning foals.
